With the start of the school year here, you may know of someone who is interested in swimming. On the last page you will find a “Bring a Friend” voucher. This will entitle your friend to some free “come and try” training sessions. Please pass this voucher to them and bring them along to the Unley Pool.

HENLEY AND GRANGE OPEN WATER SWIM – SUNDAY 8TH JANUARY We had three swimmers compete in this event held at West Lakes, Craig and Abbey Jones and John Baranoff. Craig and Abbey both achieved gold in their swims, Craig in the Open 10km and Abbey in the girls 13-14years 5km event. John medalled in both 5km and 10km events. Well done to all swimmers.
2012 Australian Open Water Championships Fri 17 Feb 2012 - Sun 19 Feb 2012 Good luck to Abbey Jones and Patrick Cobiac who are competing this weekend in the 2012 Australian Open Water Championships. This event is being held at Champion Lakes, Perth, WA. Abbey is competing in the Girls, 14years 5km Open Water swim while Patrick is swimming the Boys 17-18years 5km Open Water swim and the Men’s 1718years 10km Open Water swim.
You're invited to come and celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Unley Swimming Club. If you are still in contact with former members please let them know about this event.
Glenelg Surf Lifesaving Club Friday 27th April - 7pm until midnight Tickets are $75 and include pre dinner drinks, 3 course meal and a commemorative wine glass.
