CREATIVE ADVOCACY LAB
INNOVATING LEGAL SERVICES engages students in community-based research and legal research on new legal service models.
Students create effective and compelling legal informational resources using community-informed design processes, plain language writing, visual communication tools, design thinking, and storytelling.
INNOCENCE CLINIC Students work with Rocky Mountain Innocence Center attorneys to investigate incarcerated clients’ innocence claims and prepare those claims for litigation.
INNOVATION FOR JUSTICE empowers students to design and launch solutions to address the justice gap. UX4JUSTICE trains students to apply User Experience (UX) methodologies to the evaluation and design of justice sector technology.
Externships Students earn academic credit while gaining practical skills and training under licensed attorneys. With more than 100 placement options in many different areas of law, there’s an externship for everyone. Co-requisite courses include Learning from Practice, Advanced Learning from Practice, Criminal Process, or Entrepreneurial Law.
