If you are living on campus, visit the Mail Center Move-In Pick Up location to pick up any packages sent to your university address prior to your arrival. Parents and guests that would like to attend the Resident Transfer Student and Family Dinner on Saturday and the Continental Breakfast on Sunday must have a ticket. Parents and guests who did not pre-purchase tickets, may purchase tickets at the Hahn University Center Ticket Office on Saturday before 5:30 p.m. Saturday dinner tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for persons 12 and under. Sunday Continental Breakfast tickets are $10 per person. HARRY POTTER ROOM MOTHER ROSALIE HILL READING ROOM – Located on the main floor of Copley Library, this is a silent study room open to students and the campus community during library hours. IPJ  JOAN B. KROC INSTITUTE FOR PEACE AND JUSTICE – This building is home to several academic programs and houses classrooms and meeting spaces.

TPB  TORERO PROGRAM BOARD – An organization charged with coordinating student programs and events held on campus. TRANSFER TEAM TRANSFER TRANSITION TEAM – A group of continuing transfer students who support you as you transition to USD. TU MERC TU MERCADO – A full-service grocery store, deli and coffee bar located on the second floor of the Student Life Pavilion.

JCP  JENNY CRAIG PAVILION – Home to several USD athletic teams, including men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball. It is also used for large special events and commencement.

UC  HAHN UNIVERSITY CENTER – This building houses the USD Torero Store, La Gran Terraza restaurant, O’Toole’s Lounge, Frank’s Lounge, various department offices, conference rooms and lounge areas.

MISH CAF MISSIONS CAFÉ – Located in The Valley by the Mission Crossroads office, this is a great place to grab a meal or snack. P-SAFE  PUBLIC SAFETY – The Department of Public Safety is located on the south side of the Hughes Administration Center and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help with emergency situations.

UFMC  UNITED FRONT MULTICULTURAL CENTER – This center engages the USD community in exploring and affirming the unique identity of each person and serves as an educational resource for students, faculty and staff. It’s located in the Student Life Pavilion, Room 418.

RA  RESIDENT ASSISTANT – A continuing student who lives in your residence hall and facilitates your transition to USD and serves as a resource for your first year.

UTAS UNIVERSITY TERRACE APARTMENTS – Located across Linda Vista Road from the south side of campus, many transfer students live in this University housing and enjoy awesome views of the bay.
