Founded in 1891

Affordable, private, nonprofit university.
The University of La Verne (ULV) recognizes the richness that diverse perspectives bring to an educational experience and is proud of its designation as a Hispanic Serving Institution by the Federal Department of Education.
ULV is committed to identifying and addressing systemic barriers that may impede the academic and personal success of Hispanic students and other underrepresented groups. Through proactive measures such as equitable programmatic support, targeted resource allocation, and ongoing assessment of institutional practices, we are working to create a more equitable and inclusive university environment where all students can thrive. In 2024, 40% of all advanced degrees awarded were conferred upon Latinas or Hispanicidentifying women, over 4 times the national average.
ULV serves students on the main campus in the beautiful city of La Verne, online, and at regional campuses throughout southern and central California locations including the Inland Empire, Orange County, Kern County, and the Naval Base Ventura County.
