Foundation Programme for International Students (IFP) If your education or experience so far has not given you the qualifications, study skills or ability in English language that you need to take the degree of your choice, why not apply for a one-year foundation programme at Kent? About the programme The IFP helps you raise your academic or English language level and, on successful completion, guarantees entry onto a full degree. Involvement in Student Union clubs and societies is one of the requirements of the course, so you will become part of Kent’s thriving cosmopolitan student community.

What we offer • a one-year programme which will help you gain entry to degree courses at the University of Kent and other UK universities, in the humanities, social sciences, law and business-related courses • the chance to gain the necessary level of English language and academic skills to succeed on a degree course • a deeper level of subject knowledge than in most secondary school courses • the opportunity to live and study on a UK university campus
