Your course This course is aimed at students with the creative vision and artistic drive to change how we see and imagine the world around us through the lens of a camera by making use of latest mobile technologies and different media platforms. Throughout your time here we will help build your knowledge, skills and capacity to utilise the vast creative opportunities for film making in the era of rapid technological developments.

You will learn to choose which stories are important, how to tell them, and how to operate the technologies to do so. You will then have the opportunity to develop the necessary skills to turn your creative vision into practice in order to make and distribute films in the digital age.

You will have the chance to work in teams and with other screen industry professionals from screenwriters to actors in our industry-standard film and television studios with access to postproduction equipment and software.

Your future

The film industry is continually changing and highly competitive. This course will challenge you to develop all your talents including your creative, technical and intellectual skills equipping you for a wide range of careers in the screen industries and beyond. Graduates can find work across the screen industries in a wide range of job roles including camera, lighting, sound, producing and creative, development and research teams. Some graduates will build freelance careers within film and TV, and some may work for film production companies, studios, edit houses and major broadcasters.
