Your course Our Journalism degree focuses on the skills and knowledge to succeed in the exciting future of digital media. You will train and gain rich experience in different aspects of reporting: from researching stories and carrying out interviews to writing articles and producing social media content. You will learn how to turn the platforms you use every day ‑ from Facebook and Twitter to YouTube and Snapchat ‑ into a key part of your professional career.
You will also have opportunities to build expertise in Public Relations and promotional culture. We focus on learning digital research methods as the key tool for journalists in decades to come. You will apply everything you learn across your course in hands-on work experience through work placements with, for instance, newspapers, magazines, social media agencies or PR firms, all the while gaining experience and contacts to set you up for your career.
