Dr Mari Paananen, Associate Professor of Accounting
Dr Andreas Rauch, Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship
Graduating from the University of North Texas in 2003, Mari was at the Universities of Brunel and Hertfordshire before joining Exeter in 2012. Mari has carried out joint research with colleagues at the University of Gothenburg, Maastricht University, the Copenhagen Business School and Norges Handelshøyskole (NHH).
After graduating from the University of Giessen, Dr Rauch received his PhD at the University of Amsterdam. He was an Assistant Professor at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and a research fellow at the London Business School and at the Universities of Leipzig and Giessen before joining Exeter.
Dr Jeff Jia, Lecturer in Supply Network Management Dr Jia’s work focuses on Chinese business and he is currently examining sustainability-related innovations by 12 Chinese multi-national companies. He has extensive global research links and collaborates with world class academics in the UK, US, Italy, China and Japan.
Dr Jane Shen, Senior Lecturer in Finance After gaining her degree at Wuhan University, Jane went on to complete her MA and PdD in optimal hedging at the University of Exeter. Before joining the Business School faculty, she worked in commercial and investment banking in the areas of credit analysis, international trade finance and project finance.
Professor Christos Kotsogiannis, Head of Economics and Professor of Economics
Dr Ajit Nayak, Senior Lecturer in Strategy
Professor Christos Kotsogiannis joined Exeter in 2001 and his research is in the field of public economics. Christos is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Studies Ifo Institute (CESIfo) which is a unique European economic research group.
Previously at the School of Management, University of Bath and at Bristol Business School, Dr Nayak joined Exeter in 2010. His main research focus is on the Indian business context and the experiences and networks of the people who run India’s largest corporations.
