RE SIDENT Q&A

JANE MORSE MAJOR: AEROSPACE ENGINEERING, ’14 COMMUNITY: LIBRA

Favorite thing about living on campus: The sense of community; being around people of your own age is great for building friendships. I’m still friends with everyone I lived with. Favorite memories of living on campus: The benches at Libra were a perfect place to sit outside and talk. Advice to freshmen residents: Leave your room; go to community areas and meet people. Go to RA events and programs to learn about UCF and to make new friends. Favorite program: The ice cream social was great! Lots of people attended and we played board games until 2 a.m.

UCF housing communities have Resident Assistants (RAs)

who help you make the most of your transition and experience

at UCF. From campus resources to day-to-day life events, your RA helps

you with every facet of campus life. Your RA takes the time to get to know you and helps you create connections within your community.

“ I like being a resourceful RA,

one that can provide answers to

questions residents may have. I also

love being a comfort to students who may be homesick, and I try to make our floor their home away from

home. I appreciate the opportunity

to be a friend and mentor.” —COURTNEY FAHERTY, Education Major
