Faiths and National Societies Fair Meet representatives from the Students’ Union’s national and faith societies and find out how you can get involved. Joining a society is a fantastic way to try out new experiences, meet people with similar interests and kickstart your social life.

Sports Fair If you can’t wait to get your kit on then head over to the Sports Fair to find out how you can play for one of the many sports teams. Let’s Talk: International Friendships Come along and join our workshop designed to help you form international friendships. A Walk in the Park at Whitworth Art Gallery The University’s Whitworth Art Gallery will reopen its doors on Saturday 25 October 2014 following a £15 million redevelopment project, that will transform the 125 year old Whitworth Art Gallery into a 21st century gallery in the park. Until then, why don’t you come along on one of our walks in the park to learn more about this historic gallery and some of the inspirational artworks it houses.

John Rylands Library Tour Part of The University of Manchester, the stunning neo-gothic John Rylands Library is not to be missed. This treasure on Deansgate is host to one of the world’s finest collections of rare books and manuscripts, and as a Manchester student you have the privilege of being able to study in these magnificent surroundings whenever you like. But don’t just take our word for it – come along on one of our tours to see it for yourself, and to find out more about its fascinating history.
