Hughes’ SuperValu of Claregalway recently refurbished their store using the latest colour pallets and brand guidelines. Universal Graphics was tasked with providing all interior signage and interior branding, along with some bespoke pieces that reflect the Hughes’ proud history in Claregalway.

The internally illuminated ‘Mood’ sign was created using our state-of-the-art Kimla router at our Monaghan factory.
High-quality Installation
The ‘Chilled Minerals’ signage was mounted on the fridge using a perspex mount to give a clean, n ear-invisible, but reliable installation.
Facing, on page 5, you can see the impact of outstanding design and excellent execution. The 60mm built up aluminium illuminated letters were produced by our team in Monaghan using our bespoke automatic letterbending machine. When married to the subtext letters in the correct proportion, the effect is both warm and impressive.
The bright and clear signage on these pages shows the versatility of raised letters, especially if internally illuminated in PVC with ribbon LED lighting and opal perspex faces. All were crafted on our Kimla router at our Monaghan factory.
By bringing together inventive design and careful selection of materials and manufacturing techniques, we can achieve exciting results. These signs show, for example, the valuable effect of wrapping a lightbox in Sonoma oak wood-effect print.
The headers for the island displays are crafted from black foam PVC panels. The carpark and An Post signage is routed polished Perspex, with reverse mounted prints.
