The Bachelor of Innovation with Honours is offered as a final year Honours program co-designed with industry, with a focus on developing skills in innovation and creating impact in a complex and changing world. With scenario-based and work engaged learning in design thinking, problem solving and leadership, the course aims to equip students as agents of change able to deal with real world problems and apply commercial, social and ethical knowledge. Students are enabled to develop inspired solutions that are vital for the sustainability of society, business and industry.

The course provides students with a real opportunity to build a portfolio of professional experiences by aligning with industry partners to apply their knowledge to a field of study they are passionate about.

Career opportunities

Graduates will be equipped to apply their research and creative skills across multiple industries, working as entrepreneurs or intrapreneurs to transform an existing organisation.

The Diploma of Business gives you the opportunity to develop your academic and business skills in areas that could include digital business, finance, management, economics and marketing. You tailor your studies through the choice of a specialisation in either business and enterprise or tourism.

The course is offered through SCU College, where we understand that learners have diverse experiences and ways of learning. The College supports your study success and connects you to your peers through additional workshops to develop your academic and study skills.

Career opportunities

Graduates will be well equipped to apply their skills across a range of business areas including accounting, finance and marketing.

Graduates of the Diploma of Business are eligible for entry and up to 8 units of credit towards the Southern Cross University Bachelor of Business and Enterprise.
