Being a partner means supporting Union Capital while also receiving support from our organization's staff and members.
Expand your organization's reach by connecting your network with ours, enhancing community engagement in your events and services.
We provide physical spaces for connection, offer leadership development opportunities, and foster community relationships. Our members can participate to earn points that convert into dollars, increasing community capital.
Community members earn double points for engaging with your organization's events and services. For events where you desire high attendance, we'll collaborate to recruit members as attendees and volunteers. We have the capacity to conduct outreach to members across the Boston area.
We're thrilled to begin working with you to help your organization thrive! This welcome packet outlines various ways for you to engage with our work.
What we can accomplish together: Collaborate on community events and workshops
Hire a network coordinator
Share your resources and events with our member network (through email blasts, surveys, and banner ads)
!We are open to new ideas on ways we can work together. The more we grow together, the more we can help the community!
Hiring a Network Coordinator is an excellent way to strengthen community connections between partners. A Network Coordinator can be someone actively involved in Union Capital's operations, enabling them to connect effectively with members of your organization. We will train and provide a stipend to the Network Coordinator to enhance the member experience.
With support from the UC team, the Network Coordinator will: Share information about UC and membership opportunities at your organization's events and workshops Join a strong team of community members promoting UC Work collaboratively to build lasting relationships
We also offer: Leadership and professional development training
Support for events and workshops the Network Coordinator wishes to host
This approach helps create a cohesive network that benefits all partners involved.
We'll help plan a partner event where your organization can showcase the excellent resources and services you provide to the community. The event options include:
A 2-hour session via Zoom or in-person
A 4-hour "Partner Day" on a Saturday
Partner Events typically attract:
30+ attendees for in-person events
100+ participants for Zoom events
We'll manage all event logistics, including:
Creating promotional flyers
Arranging childcare
Providing food (for in-person events)
For in-person events, we'll collaborate with you to secure a suitable community space. This comprehensive support ensures a successful event that highlights your organization's contributions to the community.
Collaborate with different partners in a themed night, like the Health Night and Housing Night! Through these interactive nights, you can partner with our other partners!
A clickable banner ad is an excellent way to promote your upcoming training sessions or community input surveys to our UCB network.
Here's an example of a banner ad:
Another way we can work together is through tabling at each other’s events to spread the mission of our organizations! Tabling is an easy way for the both of us to share our mission with different audiences!
