SPORTS Mon Valley YMCA Participates in Various Swimming Competitions Mon Valley YMCA Swimmers Make it to States Lena Galilei will be swimming 100 Yard Butterfly Anastasia Georgagis will be swimming 200 Yard Medley Relay (Butterfly), 50 Yard Breaststroke, 100 Yard Breaststroke and 100 Yard IM. Kaylee Kassa will be swimming 400 Yard IM and 200 Yard IM Alexa Leonetti will be swimming 200 yard Medley Relay (Freestyle) Hailey Yurkovich will be swimming 200 Yard Medley Relay (Backstroke), 200 yard Free, 100 yard Fly and 100 yard backstroke. Taylor Leonetti will be swimming 200 Yard Medley Relay (Breaststroke) Levi Gebadlo will be swimming 200 yard Free, 50 Yard Back and 100 yard Backstroke.

Get Hooked This Trout Season; Opening Day Announced as April 18 State Rep. Bill Kortz, D-Allegheny, announced that the 2015 Pennsylvania trout stocking schedules are now available for pickup in his constituent service offices, 751 Pittsburgh-McKeesport Blvd. and 5101 Old Clairton Road. Trout season officially opens statewide at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 18. Fishing licenses are required. Information on the appropriate licenses is available at the Fish and Boat Commission website at www.fishandboat.com/license.htm. The state is also continuing with the Mentored Youth Fishing Days program this year. The date has been set for April 11.
