Roberts Auto Body Holds Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

n November 21 when the thermometer registered slightly above 40 F and there was a drizzle in the air, the community Laura Hermann, age 6, of Monongahela, who’s turned out for Monongahela Valley been a very good girl, presented Santa with a long Hospital’s 27th Annual Light-Up list of gift ideas at Monongahela Valley Hospital’s Night Celebration. 27th Annual Light-Up Night event. “Everyone’s life is different and we all have our own joys and struggles. But as I look out among so many friends and neighbors, I see the spirit of this Valley,” said Louis J. Panza, president and CEO of MVH. The festivities began at 7 p.m. when Mr. Panza thanked Joseph’s Nursery from Monessen for providing the interior and exterior decorations as well as for donating the special gifts that the children received. Appreciation also was expressed to The Auxiliary of Mon-Vale Health Resources, Inc. for contributing many hours of their time to ensure that the evening was a success. Ringgold High School’s RazzMa-Tazz singers provided the musical entertainment. Two children of MVH employees pulled the giant light switch to light up the night. The children included: Maggie Mateya, the 7-year-old daughter of Dennis Mateya, M.D. and Terri Mateya, a rehabilitation coordinator; and Clayton Smith, the 6-year-old son of Anne Smith, fund development assistant, in the Office of Fund Development.The highlight of the evening was when Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived in their sleigh to spread holiday cheer.
