Entry requirements: UK Bachelors (Hons) 2.1 or equivalent Special entry requirements: All applications should be accompanied by samples of work in an appropriate medium. For example: Visual arts: A video or DVD of up to 30 minutes of film or up to six slides or jpeg images provided on a CD Literature: A written piece of up to 3,000 words or a collection of 10-15 poems Music: A tape/CD/video/DVD of 20 minutes with a minimum of three pieces that best demonstrate the level and breadth of performance, or a written score The above list is not exhaustive. A degree is preferable but not essential. All applications will be considered based on the applicant’s background and experience This course is for independent-minded creatives who aspire to a career in one of the most exciting and rapidly expanding arenas today. ABOUT THE COURSE The UK’s first Master’s in Creative Entrepreneurship, our course offers a unique focus on individual creativity. If you’re a visual or performing artist, creative writer, musician, composer or arts graduate who aspires to an innovative career as a practitioner, curator or cultural provider, this course is for you. Linking creativity to entrepreneurship, the course will give you the skills and experience you need to work independently in the creative sector with integrity, innovation and enterprise. ABOUT THE COURSE On this course you’ll benefit from UEA’s expertise in Japanese arts, media, politics, and history. And you’ll learn about a variety of research methods, equipping you with the tools to actively participate in the shaping of the field yourself. AT A GLANCE – Learn about the history of ideas and engage with key writings about Japan – Explore Japanese arts and culture, society and history through a range of disciplinary approaches and methods, including art history, film and media studies, history, politics, and international relations – Gain a valuable perspective on the subject from experts in Japanese arts, cultures and heritage researching at the Sainsbury Institute for the Study of Japanese Arts and Cultures.
