Think Green

Keane Keane is a band that was formed in England, The group currently comprises Tim Rice-Oxley (piano, backing vocals), Tom Chaplin (lead vocals), Richard Hughes (drums, percussion). Their original line-up included founder and guitarist Dominic Scott, who left in 2001. Keane started to be well-known with the release of their debut album, Hopes and Fears, in 2004. Keane is known for using a piano as the lead instrument instead of guitars, differentiating them from most other rock bands. The inclusion of a distorted piano effect in 2006 and various synthesizers were a common feature in their music.

Tim Rice-Oxley and Dominic Scott were the main writers of the band's songs during their early years. When Scott left in 2002, Rice-Oxley became the main composer. However, Rice-Oxley credits the rest of the band on all compositions, so that royalties for song credits are shared. The best album they have made: Hopes and Fears (2004) Under the Iron Sea (2006) Perfect Symmetry (2008) Night Train (2010) In conclusion, I think that Keane is a very good and originally band, because they use the piano as the leading instrument instead of guitars, differentiating them from most other rock bands.
