
How to build your own TSCE program

First-year courses:
First-year courses are compulsory.
Some first-year modules are 'integrated', i.e. they consist of two sub-modules which are normally (but not necessarily) held one in one semester and the other in the following semester. The integrated module is worth 12 credits and the exam grade will correspond to the average of the results obtained in both modules.
The following modules are integrated
- Information technology for DH (12 credits), consisting of two modules: Information Technology (6 credits) and Digital Humanities (6 credits)
- Digital Linguistics and Philology (12 credits), consisting of Digital Linguistics (6 credits) and Digital Philology (6 credits)
- Public history and knowledge society (12 credits), consisting of Open Data and knowledge society (6 credits) and Public History (6 credits)
- Digital innovation for DH (12 credits), consisting of HC: Human-Computer interaction and Interfaces (6 credits) and Artificial intelligence for DH (6 credits)
- Digital research methodologies 1 (12 credits) OR Digital research methodologies 2 (12 credits).
Digital research methodologies 1 consists of Machine-based reading (6 credits) and Visual Culture and Digital Mediascape (6 credits)
Digital research methodologies 2 consists of Machine-based reading (6 credits) and Geotracking and webmapping for the Humanities (6 credits)
1st YEAR

NB: in the first year, the courses of the two curricula are the same
