2017 FALL Re-introducing San Francisco to City College City College of San Francisco teamed with Underground, a San Franciscobased creative firm, to launch the Free City campaign in June of 2017.

To underscore that the City as a whole is the campus and learning environment, the campaign featured a diverse range of beautifully photographed CCSF students in neighborhoods throughout the City.

The bold headline Walls Torn Down delivered on the promise of our community’s core values: creating “access and opportunity for all” through education.

San Franciscans began to see the Free City campaign popping up everywhere: on the sides of Muni buses, in kiosks at Stonestown Mall, neighborhood newspapers, El Tecolote and Sing Tao, and in materials created for SFUSD leaders and students. New print collateral (posters, postcards, fliers) was

Students can take classes that count toward a transfer degree, or enter one of our lauded Certificate Programs. CityOnline classes provide the same content, credits, and transferability as their in-person equivalents. Hybrid online classes have a mix of online and in-person classes.
