Elissa Pressley Tesney ‘95 and her husband, Jeff, are proud to welcome Jonathan Pressley Tesney born 12/30/13. He joins sister Mary Helen who will be in K5 this year and his brother Brett who will be in 7th grade!

Kami Smith Ralph ‘96 had her fourth boy, Spencer David Ralph, on May 12, 2014. Big brothers Andrew, Austen, and Thomas are thrilled!

Angus Cooper , II ’60, and his brother, David Cooper, Sr. ‘63 were inducted into the University of Alabama Business Hall of Fame in November 2013. Angus is pictured with his daughter, and David (right) is pictured with his family at the induction ceremony.

The class of 1960 meets regularly for lunch and recently met at Felix’s Fish Camp Grill. A grand time was had by all.

The Class of 1967 gathered for lunch in October. A great time was had by all! (Left to Right - Jim Johnston, Jeff Sims, Steve Dix, Frank Anderson, Garet Aldridge, Tyler Boulo, Claude McLaughlin, PJ Albert, Lindsay Walker, Johnny Walton, and Buster McMullan.)

4. On September 25, 2013, Walt Holman ’50 received the Buz Buszek Memorial Award, which is the most prestigious award that the International Federation of Fly Fishers bestows upon an individual. Walt is a retired professional engineer and lives in Madison, Al with his wife, Gennie. Roland Rush ‘51 recently had back surgery, but he is still looking forward to working in his daylily beds. W. Earle Smith, Jr. ‘52 has retired as a Navy Captain after serving 35 years in the Navy. He graduated from the Naval Academy in Annapolis in 1957. Richard Murray ‘53 states he is enjoying good health. He and his wife have six grandchildren out of school and working and eight still in school.

6. Charles Mosteller ’77 was appointed to the College of Charleston Foundation Board in August 2013.

Dale Younce ‘55 retired after 20 years of teaching. Stephen Pattison ‘56 has retired and is now a hospital volunteer.

Kemp Waterman Buntin ‘92 is still living in Nashville. She is staying busy with her three children, Gaits, 10, Rush, 7, and Anne Barnett, 3.

Barbara S. Malkove ‘62 has retired!

Pratt Paterson ‘96 has been named Director of Advancement at St. Mary’s Sewanee. He and his wife, Allison, have 8 year old twins, Edie and McKee.

Mike Amos ‘62 is alive and well and lives in the Philippines six months out of the year.

Stella Hillard Moore ‘63 had a great time with her classmates at their 50th reunion. Bethe Voran Meslis ‘64 retired in 2005. She has been married for 44 years and has one daughter, a son-in-law, and one precious granddaughter. Boyd Adams ‘64 is enjoying grandparenting and traveling in Africa, Asia, and Europe.

Zoe Moore Powell ‘65 has retired and is enjoying watercolor painting, gardening, book clubs, bridge, serving as Clerk of Session, and teaching Primary Sunday School at church. She absolutely loves and adores her five grandchildren. Joe Eskridge ’65 is enjoying his retirement from Wika Instruments as National Sales Manager.

Suzanne Jones ’97 married Ty Prince in December 2013. In May, she was elected president of the Jr. League of Knoxville. Marty Irby ’97 is currently working in Washington, D.C. on Capitol Hill as Press Secretary for Congressman Ed Whitfield, Chairman of the Energy and Power Committee, from the First District of Kentucky. In addition, he handles all legislative animal welfare issues for the Congressman and is working on passing the PAST (Prevent All Soring Tactics) Act, HR 1518/S 1406. The bill is designed to stop abuse in the Tennessee Walking, Racking and Spotted Saddle Horse breeds. He was also recently featured in The Huffington Post and on Dateline Australia for his work in ending horse abuse. In May, Dr. Russell Geisenheimer ’97 graduated from William Carey University, College of Osteopathic Medicine. He previously received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Spring Hill College and his Master’s in Medical Science from Mississippi College. He will begin his residency in family medicine in late June at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Missouri.
