Class of 1963

Judy Stovall Tshudy ‘63 is a retired school teacher and is now volunteering as an art teacher in elementary schools.

Class of 1965

Julie Rhoades Pizzino ’65 is on the faculty of Faith Christian School in Roanoke, VA. Her husband is on staff of Equipping Pastors, Intl., and she accompanied him to Uganda this summer for two weeks and spent time teaching the Bible to women in villages. She has three children, one son in Roanoke, another son who is on the English faculty at University of Georgia, and a daughter who recently completed her master’s in counseling at Westminster Theological Seminary in PA. She is expecting a granddaughter in early November! Fran Aldridge Danley ‘65 has a new grandson, Henri Schoenvogel, son of Blair Danley Schoenvogel ’97 and her husband Dietrich. He joins Mac who started K-4 at UMS-Wright this fall. She is also looking forward to the arrival of another grandson in November to son Franklin Danley ‘93 and his wife Leigh Ann. He will join his big sisters, Lauren, Kathryn and Anna. They are in Jacksonville, Florida.

Class of 1967

Gardens, she now docents at Runnymede Sculpture Farm and Djerassi Resident Artists Program. She has two grandchildren and another coming. She also enjoys travelling with her partner, Jim. The Class of 1968 with 10 graduates, of which nine are left, has three members living on the west coast. Jessica Voran ‘68 lives in Oregon. Dianne Harrison ‘68 is the president of California State University, Northridge. Nita is looking forward to her 50th reunion in 2018.

Marcia Mortensen French ‘67 and Sarah Levi Freeman ‘67 recently traveled to New Orleans and enjoyed dinner on the balcony at Tableau. In addition to travelling, Marcia and Sarah are both enjoying being grandmothers (Marcia to Helena (6) and Sarah to Virginia (5)).

John I. Bailey, Jr.,’68, gave the medication lecture at the national meeting of the Attention Deficit Disorder Association in Detroit in July. He has been on the ADDA Professional Advisory Board since 2003 and is in private psychiatric practice in Mobile, treating ADHD and related conditions in children & adults. The ADDA is the only national group specializing in ADHD in adults. Nita Cassity Sierke ‘68 lives in Woodside, California and is a retired Graphic Designer/Typographer who spent years lending her design skills to fundraising for local public schools and their foundations. Nita spent five years as a docent at Filoli House and

Randy Speas ‘69 continues to be President of Speas Storm Shutters, but has recently been named Director of Guest Services at the Stewart Lodges located in Steelwood. The Lodges are open to the public and allow guests to enjoy all the amenities of Steelwood.

In February, 2013, after 24 years of service, Winfield L. Ryan ’70 retired as Director of Taxes and Tax Counsel for Dominion Resources, Inc. He and Ellen are looking forward to traveling and visiting their grown children in the Washington, D.C. area. Blake Moore ‘70 recently retired from the Savannah River Nuclear Site after 37
