The most reputable accommodations in Makkah to reserve at an affordable price is difficult. Makkah is among the most sought-after real estate properties in the world, and it is for this reason finding hotels in Makkah at a reasonable price close to Haram isn't easy.

The recent competition in increasing the ease of obtaining tourist visas has made it somewhat more affordable to get near the action, without having to pay the traditional PS1000 per night costs that were standard prior.

You can now find the top hotels in Makkah at as low as PS100 for a night or PS300 during the final 10 days of Ramadan. Far less expensive than the outrageous prices.

Hyatt I was at the Hyatt a while ago and enjoyed my stay. It is necessary to traverse the road to get to the Al-Haram courtyard, however, it isn't an issue as you will see in the image. In peak times, they shut down the road to ensure there isn't any traffic to cross.

As it is close to the Kabah and is part of Makkah's new developments, this is a five-star property located in Makkah. There is an executive lounge, which offers breakfast and snacks to help you save money on food. Hyatt also has regular promotions which give guests discounts on their property.

The prices are affordable also, and if can go off-peak, you will discover some excellent alternatives for as low as PS114 each night.

Conrad Conrad hotel is situated within the Jabal Omar development. It is a brand new hotel and is of top quality. I enjoyed my stay and they can allow large families to stay with extra beds.

The Executive lounge could be improved as they do not allow children under 12 which for a lot of families isn't a feasible alternative. If you're Hilton Gold or Diamond you are welcome to the lounge for free, and they also offer great upgrades too.

It is located 5 minutes from Haram for the elderly or children, and it is necessary to traverse the road (as shown on the Hyatt image). It's not a problem however if you require wheelchairs, you'll need to travel to the top of Hilton Suites located in the same area.

In the Hilton Sale, customers will get rooms for around PS110 for a night.

Hilton Suites Room at Hilton Suites Makkah Hilton Suites was one of the top hotels in Makkah in the past before the opening of several new hotels. I stayed at the hotel a few years ago and must admit that it is showing wear and wear and tear. I had hoped for better service, however, their breakfast is excellent and the location is perfect.

Hilton Makkah Convention Centre It is the Hilton Makkah Convention Centre for me is regarded as to be one of the top hotels in value, particularly when it comes to Elite Hilton members. I have written my full review of the property here.

The hotel is farther away by walking, about 8 minutes. They also provide a shuttle service to bring you to the end of the street, which is near Hilton Suites, this is particularly beneficial for children as well as the older. The hotel is brand modern and spacious and offers an amazing view over the Haram courtyard. Their lounge is fantastic and provides dining options in their executive lounge, which includes meals cooked in a different way than Conrad's.

Prices are also quite reasonable in the off-peak seasons, starting at PS80 for a night. I was not averse to the location, and when I visited, I was expecting an extended walk. The only problem is it's steep. It is possible to find affordable rates when you book the Hilton discount.

Makkah Hotel It is the Makkah Hotel is what used to be the Hilton and Millenium Hotel Makkah. Both have gone from the property, so it's called Makkah Hotel and Makkah Towers.

The building is one of the most accessible and desirable alternatives for Haram however it is also one of the oldest properties in the region, so it will require a thorough renovation. It appears that they have done slight facelifts but nothing too significant.

I remember the time we stayed there some years ago, it took around four minutes to walk out to the Haram according to the time I had recorded it. It is located in the Makkah Hotel and offers a lounge and the Makkah Towers have a kitchenette for families who wish to cook.

Prices start at around PS100 each night.

This is an excellent choice, particularly for parents with a disability and no need to travel across a street and is less busy than The Clock Tower.

Marriott Makkah Photo Credit: Marriott Makkah The Marriott is a brand new hotel it is located higher than Hilton Convention. Hilton Convention so you can walk down the hill or you can take their complimentary shuttle. The shuttles will are located just outside the Hilton Suites. The only problem with these hotels is the hill's steepness, but for instance, you could climb it, and then transfer to the shuttle. The hotel is rated highly and has reasonable prices starting at PS80 per night.

With Marriott becoming one of the biggest hotels in the world following the acquisition of Starwood You can earn points and redeem them however they've expanded the category without prior notice!

The hotel has a lounge as well as good views over Haram.

Fairmont Makkah

The prices are reasonable starting at PS140 per night in off-peak months and, considering that it's located situated in the Clock Tower you can have stunning views. A number of our readers have had great upgrades at the hotel.

One reason I'm not fond of the hotels located in the Clock Towers is simply due to the long lines for elevators as well as the sheer volume of people who enter the mall. This can be very apparent particularly during Ramadan when people are praying on their sides and sit in the middle which makes it difficult to control traffic between the hotel and the Mall.

It's not cheap with rooms that start at PS400 for a night. However, the reviews about the property have been positive. I'm going to assess this hotel so that I can investigate it myself since I'm interested to know the quality of their service.

The hotel is situated in the Clock Tower so be mindful of traffic and leaving.

Additionally, many of our customers have enjoyed amazing upgrades to the hotel, including a family receiving a two-bedroom apartment in exchange for an upgrade.

The hotel, naturally isn't cheap, with prices that start at PS150 for a night.

It does however offer stunning views, and I've heard that many stay there because of that. I can't imagine anything better than gazing out your window as you relax and looking out over half the Makkah city. Makkah.

DoubleTree Makkah Hotel Photo Credit: Doubletree Makkah A brand new hotel to be opened in 2019, the Doubletree Makkah which is situated inside the Jabal Omar Development. The hotel is situated in front of that of the Marriott in the vicinity of Hilton Convention and Marriott Hilton Convention You can walk to it, however, they provide a shuttle bus. It is possible to walk in your youth, but the shuttle service is convenient and fast and isn't long.

The reviews are very positive since the hotel is brand new, however, it has been built professionally with excellent amenities. This isn't your usual Doubletree style hotel, but one with a more luxurious look. The hotel doesn't have an executive lounge, so be careful if you're Elite and would like one.

The hotel was launched last year and is of high quality. It is located on the opposite side of the development which is located across the road from Marriott Makkah. It is a walkable distance to the Haram however it is situated on a hill, so keep this in mind if have elderly guests with you.

The rooms are spacious and they have a great breakfast menu and modern design. The prices are reasonable starting at PS80. If you're okay with staying an extra few minutes and walking or taking in a shuttle, and the price is right, this is an excellent hotel.

The hotel is situated near The Clock Tower, it is not a brand new hotel, however, it is extremely convenient and affordable, particularly for the larger rooms. You can easily access the gate currently in use for Umrah.

The house is old, however, if you're on a tight budget and need convenience, then this is an excellent choice.

I am awestruck by the reality that many new establishments are opening up which raises the quality and competition that will hopefully better serve pilgrims. The cost of lodging has decreased and, in the majority of instances, the hotel's service and the quality of rooms are improving, which is great.

The new properties are not located in the Haram courtyard because it is being constructed and managed by hotels. However, they're a good option if you're located a bit further away, and offer better value. I would like to see that in the next years that they can also improve certain properties within the courtyard including Intercontinental or Makkah Hotel. Makkah Hotel.
