Welcome to the UMJC Family Conference!
We are so glad you have made a priority to travel to historic Boston for this great event. This year’s conference is number 46 for the Union and is filled with dynamic worship services, educational workshops, and special opportunities to connect with fellow Yeshua-followers from all over the world. There is something for everyone age 0 to 100!
It is an opportune time for us to get together as we continue to work and pray for peace in the Middle East and Israel in particular. We also remember the large Jewish community caught in war-torn Ukraine and the concerning rise of global antisemitism. For this reason, the theme of this year’s conference is timely: A Future and a Hope, which starts in our own soul and expands to the Jewish world around us.
We know you will be blessed and also hope that you will be a blessing to those around you as we encourage each other in our journey with Messiah at this critical time. So take the time to maximize this amazing gathering and all that it offers. We trust that your faith will be strengthened and your friendships expanded!
In Yeshua, our future and our hope,
Rabbi Barney Kasdan UMJC President

Aaron Eby: Themes of Redemption in the Siddur, The siddur is not a hymnal; it is a symphony. It has been carefully composed to guide the soul through the unfolding drama of redemption. Far from being a random collection of prayers, the traditional Jewish prayer book is deliberately structured to echo the story of Israel’s salvation and to awaken our longing for its fulfillment. This lecture explores how the rhythms and themes of the siddur prepare us to recognize, desire, and live in the light of redemption.
