A Business Minor Can Be a Major Thing Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management Minor The curriculum emphasizes entrepreneurship, innovation, and new product development management, conflict resolution and negotiation, team-building, and project management. Management faculty are available to consult with students wishing to pursue careers in entrepreneurship and innovation management. The School of Management awards roughly $50,000 per year in scholarships largely targeting entrepreneurship/innovation management majors and minors. Several former Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management minors have used what they have learned to launch their own ventures like photography studios, developing apps, and patenting/promoting designs. Even if you don't want to start a business, corporations want to hire entrepreneurial and innovative employees! An Entrepreneurship minor is well suited for all majors. Those students pursuing a major in Computer Science, Engineering, Performing Arts/Theatre, or STEM majors greatly enhance their career options with an Entrepreneurship Minor.
