His employer agreed and funded the entire project complete with study carrels, new lighting, high-tech computer equipment, comfortable seating, microwave and coffee pot. The result? A state of the art retreat that facilitates learning and collaboration.

The Department of Industrial Technology in the College of Engineering blends applied research, utilizing the newest technologies, and tried and true business practices. Students are prepared for a career in organizations ranging from the military to the oil field.
