Dr.AI-Kno createsarocketshipthatcanshrink, whichallowsthegrouptojourneyinsideNova'sbrainto seewhatdamagethedrugsaredoing. Amongteensandyoungadults,polysubstanceuse(i.e.,whentwoormoresubstanceslike alcohol,nicotine,ormarijuanaareused) isassociatedwithpoormental,behavioral,and physicalhealthoutcomeslaterinlife. Understandingwaystopreventandtreat polysubstanceuseiscrucial.Adolescentsandyoungadultswhousenicotinecontaining productsandmarijuanaatthesametimemaybemoredependentonnicotineproductsthan marijuananon-users. Usingdifferentsubstances(e.g.,alcohol,nicotine,ormarijuana)may increasedependencyonothersubstances.AsNovastruggleswithpolysubstanceuse, herfellow Dimensionssuperheroesassessandexplainthedamageofthesedifferentsubstances inherbrain. Byunderstandingtheharmfuleffectsofdifferentsubstancesonherbrain,sheis motivatedtoseekevidence-basedtreatmentandsupporttoaddressherpolysubstanceuse.
