Hailey Shines at the Scottish Badminton Open

One of Study Links’ exemplary guardianship students we have been proud to provide guardianship for since 2020 is Hailey. Hailey excels both academically and athletically as an Academic and Sports Scholar at Strathallan School, and as the school’s Badminton team captain - demonstrating her leadership skills.

In a remarkable display of talent and dedication, Hailey has proven herself a force to be reckoned with in the world of badminton. During last term’s Perth and Kinross District Tournament, Hailey achieved a clean sweep, securing titles in the under 19s girls singles, under 19s girls doubles and under 19s mixed doubles categories. This mirrors her success in the same regional competition last academic year.

With her exceptional season and triumphs at the Midland Senior Double Final and the Women’s Final at the Edinburgh Badminton Academy Bronze Championships, Hailey has now gone onto toptier international competition at the Scottish Open Badminton Championships.

Hailey said,

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be selected for the Scottish regional performance Squad to represent Scotland. It’s the culmination of years of hard work, and I can’t wait to give it my all on the court at the Scottish Open.”

Study Links celebrates Hailey’s outstanding achievements and views her success as an inspiration for other students under our guardianship and the wider international boarding student community. Hailey is a real testament to the potential for academic and athletic success while studying in the UK. As we commend her accomplishments, we look forward to seeing Hailey’s continued progress and growth. Congratulations, Hailey.
