Beyond the classroom, boarders develop practical and valuable life skills, from cooking to doing their own laundry and maintaining living spaces. Wellbeing

The Royal’s philosophy is that a balanced lifestyle will lead to both physical wellbeing and academic success. Boarders are encouraged to develop good exercise habits, and benefit from an on-site gym and indoor and outdoor sporting facilities that provide access to ball and racquet sports.

Pupils participate in a wide range of extracurricular activities from sports and music to drama and involvement in community fundraising.

Weekends are a highlight for international boarders, giving pupils the chance to immerse themselves in British culture and explore the busy hotspots of London and local cultural venues. These experiences bring cultural enrichment, personal growth, and time to bond beyond the confines of the school campus.
