2010 MEN’S SEASON IN REVIEW The 2010 campaign was a learning experience for a young University of Kentucky men’s cross country team. Led by a trio of underclassmen in sophomore Luis Orta, junior Josh Nadzam and freshman Stacey Eden, the Wildcats earned two top-five team finishes and advanced to the NCAA Southeast Regional. The Wildcats got off to a strong start, finishing in second place at the San Francisco Invitational in the season’s first meet. Orta led the way for Kentucky, running the 8K race in a time of 24:52 to finish in first place and later earn Southeastern Conference Freshman Runner of the Week honors.
