The Headwaters Coalition is hosting two Volunteer Work Days in the Headwaters Sanctuary on Friday, September 30 from 2:00 to 5:00 and on Saturday, October 1 from 9:00 to 12:00. We’ll meet at the main trailhead behind the baseball fields on both work days.& Come prepared for work in the woods: long pants and close toed shoes.& Headwaters volunteers are eligible for o# campus community service hours. Plus, getting involved in the Headwaters project is a great way to expand your horizons and get to know more intimately this place we call “home” here at Incarnate Word. Need more information? A veterans' benefits information session will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13th at the Dr. Burton E. Grossman International Conference Center (ICC) auditorium, located at the corner of Hwy. 281 N and E. Hildebrand Ave. Map Each semester, UIW offers free informational sessions for prospective student veterans and their families to answer questions about attending UIW, and using VA educational benefits.
