Community Nearly half of pharmacists work in community pharmacies and are the most accessible members of the health care team. Community pharmacists provide patients with safe and effective access to medications and advice about their health. You could work in a small, independent pharmacy or a large chain while caring for patients in your community.

Clinical specialization within pharmacy provides services to patients in a variety of specialty areas, such as pediatrics, infectious disease, emergency medicine, geriatrics, psychiatric, or substance misuse, just to name a few.
