DELEGATE FAQ

We are delighted that you joining us at our 2025 Annual UHUK Conference at Staverton Hotel and Golf Resort, Daventry, Northampton.

1 Venue Address

- Staverton Park Hotel and Golf Resort, Daventry Rd, Daventry NN11 6JT

2 Travel - Find Us

- By car: Close to the M1, J16 and J18 and 14 miles from the M6

- By rail: 11 miles from Northampton and Rugby railway stations

- By air: 32 miles from Birmingham airport and 50 miles from Luton airport

3 Car Parking and EV

- The car park is free of charge. There are 4 EV charging points on site, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

4 Check-in Info

Check-in to your rooms will not be available until after the conference close on Day 1. (Those in overflow will receive different instructions and will be aware).

Please register at the UHUK desk at the County Suite Entrance when you arrive, and your room key will be made available from 17.30.

If you are arriving on the 13th or the 15th, you can check in from 3pm at the main hotel reception.

Check-out is 10am on the day of departure.

5 Luggage

- Please leave your luggage in your car if possible until you receive your room key.

- If arriving by train, taxi, air, you will be able to store your luggage at reception until check-in. There is a surcharge of £2.50 for your luggage to be taken to your room - please arrange yourself if required.

6 Room Charges

- If you wish to charge extras or drinks to your room, please register your credit card with reception. You can do this once you have collected your room key.

- If you have not pre-registered your card, you can pay for drinks etc direct at the bar, or receipt to table.

7 Wi-Fi Code

- Free of charge, and very reliable. SP_CONF_SECURE, password: STAV.PARK

8 Format for the Conference Day 1

- Registration is from 11am on the 14th

- Lunch is 12.00-12.30 on the 14th, followed by a look around the exhibition. We have a defined lunch slot and this cannot be exceeded.

- Conference starts 13.00 prompt and finishes 17.30.

- After conference there is informal networking at the bar, followed by a buffet dinner in the main restaurant at 19.00.

9 Format for the Conference Day 2

- Conference starts prompt at 08.45 and finishes 17.00.

- Drinks reception 18.45 for Awards gala dinner seated at 19.15.

- Awards presentations from 21.00 followed by a disco.

More details can be found in the Conference Programme which will be printed.

10 Slido

- We are using Slido for audience Q&A. Please ensure you load the Slido app on your phone, and use the code # 1728708 to log in.

11 Dress Code

- Dress code for the conference is casual business attire.

- Dress code for the dinner on the 14th is informal/relaxed.

- Dress code for the Conference/Awards Gala dinner on the 15th is smart/lounge suit/dress. Black tie/ cocktail/evening dress optional.

12 Leisure Facilities

- The hotel has bookable facilities; spa and golf. The pool is available from 12pm on day of check-in until 12pm on day of check-out. It opens at 7am.

13 Breakout Sessions

- Day 1 has 3 breakout sessions scheduled, each with 3 choices.

- Please sign up prior to the conference using this link: signup.com/go/QfdxDMO

- Ensure you sign up to 1 of each session, and distribute your organisational delegates as evenly as possible.

14 Sponsor Raffle

- Please pick up your raffle sheet on registration, and visit the sponsor stands to get your codes.

- The sponsors provide raffle prizes which will be drawn at the end of day 2 for those with completed sheets.

15 Name Badges

- At the end of the conference it would be appreciated if you return your name badges - we try to reduce waste if possible!

Photography and videography

We will be capturing general photos and video footage at this conference and may use some of the images on our social media channels and website, and in other materials to help raise the profile of UHUK and its members. Video and images will be stored in accordance with GDPR. A copy of our privacy policy is available at UHUK.co.uk/policies
