Pledge and Officer Messages I pledge to uphold the Objects of Circle K International, to foster compassion and goodwill toward others through service and leadership, to develop my abilities and the abilities of all people, and to dedicate myself to the realization of humankind's potential.
Welcome back CKI Fam! I’m so happy and excited to have you all join us this school year as we fill our year with hours of service, fun socials, and district wide events. For our new members, I can’t wait to get to know you all and share what we have in store for you to make this year special and definitely one for the books!

Cougar Carnival
UH CKI officers participated in Cougar Carnival, an event where incoming freshman can come in during their orientation and hear about all of the clubs UH has to offer. Many incoming freshman have heard or were part of Key Club in high school, so to see them here interested in Circle K International was a great experience. We met a ton of incredible people who all share the same passion we do: volunteering. Thank you to all those who came over to our booth at Cougar Carnival, and we look forward in serving the world together, one volunteering event at a time!

Weekend Officer Training
Over the summer, several UH CKI officers went to Pottsboro, TX for Weekend Officer Workshop or WOW for short. Our officers (and our very own Southeast Texas Lieutenant Governor Jose Leyva) gave a presentation in front of other officers of the Texas-Oklahoma CKI district. They also had the opportunity to interact with them and even got to go ziplining!

Back to School Advice! We all know that the transition from summer break to school can be a tough one. It can be especially difficult for those in their first year in college. I’ve decided to compile a list of advice from all of the officers and chairs of the CKI team to help ease your transition into school easier. Whether it is your first year or your last, I hope this advice can help you in this crazy experience called college. :)
