The University of Houston and UHAA welcome all outstanding Cougar companies to our established community of business excellence, the Cougar 100! The Cougar 100 is fast becoming our most exciting program for recognizing our Cougar-owned and operated businesses. Now in its seventh year, the Cougar 100 has welcomed over 200 companies to the list since its inception. This year, we welcomed 10 new companies to the list.

Companies on the list are ranked by percentage of compound annual growth in sales or revenue across a three-year period with gross revenues above $250,000 and in business for five years or more. The Cougar 100 members will automatically be included in the Cougar Business to Business Network, which showcases Cougar-owned businesses and allows business owners to connect with each other. Companies who submit their information will have the opportunity to take part in the UH Corporate Partner program.

Hanneke Faber (’90, M.B.A. ’92) President, Global Foods and Refreshments Unilever Distinguished Alumna Recently named in Fortune Magazine’s “2020 Most Powerful Women International,” Hanneke Faber (’90, M.B.A. ’92) became president of global foods and refreshments at Unilever in 2019. In this role, Faber has delivered strong results and accelerated the digitization of the European business. Hanneke spent most of her career in the FMCG and retail industry. Prior to joining Unilever, she worked at Royal Ahold Delhaize as Chief E-commerce and Innovation Officer, and member of the Executive Committee, playing a key role in accelerating the company’s e-commerce business. Between 2013 and 2016, she was Chief Commercial Officer & Member of the Executive Committee of Royal Ahold, responsible for e-commerce, digital, innovation and customer branding.

Since 2016, she has served as a member of Bayer AG’s Supervisory Board. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of Leading Executives Advancing Diversity (LEAD). Faber speaks Dutch, English, French, German and Greek. She has lived and worked in the US, Greece, Switzerland and the Netherlands. She is married and has three children.
