STAC Y AN D JE FF RO TH EN BE RG ER “Commit to the G.” If ever a couple took the tenets of that simple but compelling phrase to heart, Jeff and Stacy Rothenberger have done so. Jeff Rothenberger came to UGA from Chamblee, Georgia in 1977 to study accounting in the Terry College of Business. Four years later, he earned his BBA and developed a lifelong commitment to the University. He then embarked on a multi-faceted career that today has him actively engaged in a new and innovative healthcare company focused on solving prescription medication adherence issues. Jeff has enjoyed success working in the petroleum industry as well, and it was in that industry that he met and married the love of his life, Stacy, a Texas Tech graduate. It didn’t take long until Stacy was converted to a devoted member of the Bulldog Nation. Jeff confesses their giving to UGA started with donations designed to acquire favorable football tickets. Over time, however, the Rothenbergers’ philanthropy grew into significant gifts to the Terry College, the Special Collections Libraries, and the Miller Learning Center, the latter of which houses a room named in their honor. The Rothenbergers’ legacy includes son Travis, who earned a BBA in finance from the Terry College in 2014, and daughter Alyse, who is currently enrolled at UGA and working toward a marketing degree.
