Bible Study on God’s Mission Come and Sing (Morning & afternoon) Drama as Ministry Energising Your Mission From Ninian to Now – History of Christianity in Scotland God’s Story Through the Bible Learning from the World Church Planting for Christ: a Church Planting Story Storytelling (You can attend both):

There will be two different sessions and you can attend one or both: Morning: Using Stories: 50% of the UK’s population are oral learners which means that rather than reading a book, they learn through hearing a story (or watching a film or listening to music...). Together we’ll experience how to bring the Bible alive to oral learners. Afternoon: Stories with Henna designs are used in many parts of the world as nonpermanent tattoos that can last from a few hours to over a week, depending on how long the paste is left to dry on the skin. Missionaries have now cleverly invented designs that represent Bible stories, and so can be used as a tool to evangelise and disciple. Come along and have a go. No artistic ability needed, I promise!

Revival FM is Scotland’s only full time Christian Radio Station. New state of the art radio studios have been established and, under the guidance of God, we are now broadcasting 24/7 on 100.8FM in central Scotland and globally on the internet. Our aim is “To spread the good news of Jesus over the hills and valleys of Scotland”. People have been challenged, encouraged, entertained and blessed, and God’s name has been glorified. Please join our workshop and experience a unique ministry.

What has the World Church got to teach us? Led by Dr David Miller, Vice-Principal of International Christian College. Over the last hundred years the world church has grown tremendously, so that Christianity can now truly be called a world religion. Mission is no longer from the west to the rest, but from everywhere to everywhere. At the same time, the church in the west is struggling. What can we learn from other parts of the world church which may encourage us, and which may also challenge us as we think about our situation here in Scotland at the start of the 21st century?

Crèche

Led by Paula Morton, Activities Development Manager, Urban Saints Scotland

There will be a crèche for pre-school children run by experienced leaders.

This practical based session will begin to equip and enable you to reassess, refresh or begin to think about your youth and children’s ministry within your church and community. Whether you need training for your team, new material for your youth programme or need to start a community based outreach programme, this session will provide an insight into available resources from Urban Saints. For over 100 years Urban Saints (formerly known as Crusaders) has been pioneering local youth and children’s work throughout the UK. By partnering with Urban Saints your church could access training for your youth team, online youth and children’s material and support from a network of experienced youth workers.
