Use of Consistency Determination Apparatus and Crush Tester in Pulp and Paper Testing
Consistency determination apparatus offers a simple and rapid method of determining the consistency of pulp suspension in freeness tests. It is robust, corrosion resistant, and is constructed utilizing stainless steel. This Consistency Determination Apparatus is suitable for use with all mill stocks and pulps prepared in the laboratory for evaluation purposes. It is generally used for various other purposes which involve the concentration of pulps including confirmation of the mass of pulp used in freeness tests. It is particularly useful in preparing pulp samples for laboratory beating in the PFI mill.
