Wendy’s husband, Marc, is the best sonin-law in the world… on top of that an incredibly innovative success story. With Melanie With all three children launched to college, Marc retired from a rewarding career in the business/tech world where he was an executive at General Instrument/Motorola for many years. He won an Emmy for his role as team leader in developing the first digital TV system, globetrotted as head of international business, and then became a tech start-up entrepreneur. In his “second career” he authored the book Televisionaries, about the digital TV revolution. In the words of Donald Rumsfeld, this book is “a welldocumented account of how American entrepreneurship and innovation transformed an entire industry.” Having contributed mightily to the forever changing media business, Marc was a regular radio show guest on Sirius XM’s Wharton

Business Channel as well as on NPR. He has been active in theater for years, and was just named President of the Board of Directors of the North Coast Repertory Theatre in Solana Beach, California, near their home. In addition to his stellar career, he has been invaluable in aiding our family in estate planning and general finances. When there is a problem, this man jumps to our aid. Although he risks his life by surfing (and skiing), he is a great comfort and ally to all of us. This man is a prince.
