Located in the heart of the Northeastern United States, our main campus in Storrs serves as a hub of innovation, providing Huskies with countless opportunities in a safe environment. Regional campuses located throughout Connecticut offer the same outstanding education. University housing is offered at our main campus in Storrs or at UConn Stamford, just a 50-minute train ride from New York City.

STORRS MAIN CAMPUS

UConn’s flagship campus offers over 115 majors spanning 10 schools and colleges. More than 12,000 students live in one of our residence halls, suites, or apartments. As a Husky, you have access to experiences and opportunities created with you in mind. With 700 campus organizations to choose from, and 21 Division I varsity teams to cheer on, there’s so much for you here.

UCONN STAMFORD

Pursue innovative majors including computer science, digital media, business data analytics, and more in one of the nation’s most robust business communities. Students who study at UConn Stamford can join one of more than 40 clubs and organizations on campus, take advantage of internships at Fortune 500 companies, live in updated, apartment-style housing with fellow Huskies, and enjoy quick access to New York City. With so much within walking distance, including cultural experiences, restaurants, and entertainment, there is always something to do.

HERE TO HELP YOU SUCCEED

We offer several support services for international students including our International Orientation Program; International Student and Scholar Services; and University of Connecticut American English Language Institute for those students who need to improve on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or Duolingo.

CAMPUS SAFETY AND WELLNESS

Our accredited Student Health Services facility provides a wide range of medical services on a fee-for-service basis. UConn’s 24-hour fire and police departments are also based right on campus.

MERIT SCHOLARSHIPs

UConn has a series of renewable merit scholarships for international applicants with a record of high academic achievement and outstanding leadership.

Minimum score requirement for the IELTS exam is 6.5; minimum Duolingo score requirement is 100
