Redshirt junior JOHN YOUNG (6-5, 238) will look to make an impact after battling injuries throughout his first few seasons in the program. Redshirt freshman DANIEL EATON (6-3, 193) looks to impress in his first spring practice.

OFFENSIVE LINE The offensive line welcomes back four players who occupied starting positions last season -- center Jake Brendel, guard Xavier Su'a-Filo, tackle Simon Goines and tackle Torian White. Each received post-season honors for their play. Junior XAVIER SU'A-FILO (6-3, 304) has been in the starting lineup in each game he has been with the program. In 2012, he started all 14 contests and was named first-team All-Pac-12 and selected to several All-America squads. In 2009, he became the first Bruin true freshman ever to start a season-opener on the offensive side of the ball and set a record for starts (13) by a freshman position player. He returned to UCLA last season after sitting out the 2010 and 2011 campaigns while on a church mission. Sophomore SIMON GOINES (6-6, 320) started 13 games at right tackle in 2012 to match Su'a-Filo's school record total by a frosh. Redshirt sophomore TORIAN WHITE (6-5, 282) started all 14 contests at left tackle. Each earned some Freshman All-American recognition from various media outlets. Redshirt sophomore JAKE BRENDEL (6-4, 276) started all 14 games at center in 2012 and earned Freshman All-America status from several publications. Redshirt senior ALBERTO CID (6-2, 325) has seven career starts under his belt after transferring into UCLA from junior college in the fall of 2011. He started one contest at right guard in 2012. Junior ALEXANDRU CEACHIR (6-5, 302) saw action primarily on special teams last season. He played mostly left tackle for Santa Monica College after coming to the U.S. from Moldova in 2009. Redshirt sophomore guards BEN WYSOCKI (6-4, 280) and KEVIN McREYNOLDS (6-2, 292) saw their first game action in 2012. Redshirt sophomore WILL OLIVER (6-7, 274) and redshirt freshman CONOR McDERMOTT (6-8, 260) offer depth at the tackle positions along with redshirt freshman COLBY CYBURT (6-3, 250) who will look to make an impression during his initial spring session. Redshirt senior GREG CAPELLA (6-3, 304) sat out last season, due to injury, after starting all 14 games in 2011. He lined up at guard for 13 games and started at center against San Jose State. Redshirt junior KODY INNES (6-3, 257) saw action as a reserve center in 2012. Redshirt freshman CARL HULICK (6-2, 277) will take part in his initial spring practice.

Xavier Su'a-Filo

True sophomores JORDAN PAYTON (6-1, 210) and KENNETHWALKER (5-9, 171) both saw action in their first seasons in the program. Payton started four contests and caught 18 passes for 202 yards and a score. Walker played in 12 contests and totaled 11 catches for 87 yards. He returned seven kickoffs for 138 yards and a 19.7-yard average Redshirt sophomores TYLER SCOTT (6-2, 205), ROOSEVELT DAVIS (5-3, 151) and LOGAN SWEET (6-0, 186) each appeared on special teams and at receiver last season. Sweet was the only one of the group to catch a pass, making two receptions for 47 yards and a touchdown. Redshirt freshmen AHMAAD HARRIS (5-4, 157), SAM HANDLER (5-10, 195), ZACH HERNANDEZ (6-0, 179) and NICK PASQUALE (5-8, 175) will look to move up in the rotation. Redshirt senior GRAYSON MAZZONE (5-8, 189) sat out last season after transferring from East Carolina and will be eligible to compete this fall. He is the son of offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone.True freshman ELDRIDGE MASSINGTON (6-1, 206) is also on hand.

DEFENSE UCLA returns seven starters on this side of the ball, plus many talented youngsters who will compete during spring practice.

DEFENSIVE END Senior end CASSIUS MARSH (6-4, 268) started all 14 games in 2012 and put up career-best numbers in tackles (50), sacks (8.0) and tackles for loss (10.5). He has started 22 games over the course of the last two seasons. True senior end OWAMAGBE ODIGHIZUWA (6-3, 265) saw action in all 14 games in 2012 and made one start. He established career-highs in tackles (44), tackles for loss (6.0) and sacks (3.5). Redshirt senior end KEENAN GRAHAM (6-1, 246) appeared in 11 contests and recorded nine tackles and one sack last season.

Y POSITION Redshirt senior DARIUS BELL (5-11, 216) switched over to receiver last spring and appeared in 10 games, with one start, in 2012. He caught seven passes for 143 yards and a touchdown. Walk-on redshirt senior JORDAN BARRETT (6-2, 259) has seen action the past two seasons, primarily on special teams. Sophomore IANTAUBLER (6-4,
