UCLA Extension partnered with HBO to offer their production employees an opportunity to deepen their skillsets using industry-leading software. The program included a customized two-credit course as well as tailored sessions on Movie Magic budgeting and scheduling software, delivered virtually. Students were issued a license to use the software and completed a final examination to showcase their knowledge.

Univision

UCLA Extension has collaborated with Univision for over five years, offering programs both in person and online, as well as live and asynchronous sessions. Our collaborations have included multiple customized leadership and management workshops, as well as credit bearing courses and certificate programs. More recently, we provided a cohort of employees a 12-week training in writing for marketing and advertising. Employees were also enrolled in a custom track of UCLA Extension’s Project Management Certificate program.

Filmakademie

Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg is a world-renowned film school in Germany that UCLA Extension has collaborated with since 2008. Our seminars and workshops help students learn about the movie industry and give them the opportunity to meet with directors, producers, writers, and cinematographers. Our workshops also included site visits to famous landmarks and lectures from celebrity guests.

Pacific Sound & Vision

UCLA Extension delivered two week-long programs to a mix of established international musicians, producers, and provincial performers.
