I like staying in touch with people via the phone. Tex ng and emailing are other meth-‐ ods I use for staying in touch, but nothing beats hearing a voice of a friend or former coworker. Is it the most efficient use of me? Probably not, but it my way of looking at it, it can and does make an imprint to show you care!

All of you who read this newsle er care about the UCCS PGM Program. You may have had roommates, friends, fellow in-‐ terns, bosses or classroom instructors while at UCCS who may have helped you along the way. When was the last me you talked to them? As the PGA Employment Consultant for the Colorado Sec on, my reason for wri ng this type of ar cle is to get you to think about your network. The employment arena is a tough one some mes. The stronger allies you have built along the way will add to your “bank account” so when you have to make a “withdrawal”, the “deposits” you make along the way will add up. Does this sound like you are using people? I think not. Call someone up who made a difference in your life and tell them how much you appreciate them. Someday, it may come back to you!
