The Graduate Student Association (GSA) is a recognized student club at UCCS and its purpose is to enhance the experiences of graduate students on campus. GSA develops ways to bring together graduate students on campus, develop a sense of community, and provide resources and mentorship for future graduate students.

Our Military and Veterans Affairs Division offers transition assistance through educational benefits counseling, community engagement, and academic support. The McCord-Herbst Student Veteran Center, staffed entirely by military-affiliated personnel, features a comfortable lounge, study areas, and the USAA Workforce Computer Lab, fostering connection and relaxation. MESSAGE FROM OUR CHANCELLOR
“At UCCS, we are deeply committed to supporting our veterans, active-duty service members, and military families, and to making our campus a place where we can support those who have dedicated their lives to supporting our country. We strive to ensure that they receive the support, respect, and care they need to thrive. The singular experiences of our military affiliated community members bring a profound impact to our Mountain Lion family. Though the debt we owe to our veterans and service-members can never truly be repaid, we can work to honor their service by advocating for their well-being and long-lasting success”
-Jennifer

Inclusive Culture & Belonging
UCCS is committed to being a leading educational institution where all who attend, work and benefit from the campus are valued and respected. We value inclusive belonging as a foundation for teaching and scholarship that prepares students, faculty, staff, and community members for both local and global multicultural engagement.
We foster a supportive campus environment that embraces a culture of belonging, engagement, and learning for all, including individuals with intersecting backgrounds, social identities, abilities, and cultures.
MOSAIC & LGTBQ+ RESOURCE CENTER
The Multicultural Office for Student Access, Inclusiveness and Community (MOSAIC) and the LGBTQ+ Resource Center support students across cultures, gender identities and sexual orientations on campus while creating opportunities for all UCCS students to celebrate diversity, create community and become inclusive leaders. The MOSAIC Office, established in 2003, is a student advocated support service designed to cultivate the holistic development of students at UCCS. The office contributes to strengthening the UCCS campus climate by collaborating with students in advancing equity at UCCS.

Costs
At UCCS, we’re committed to keeping a University of Colorado degree accessible to all. We do this because we believe a degree is more than just a diploma; it’s an investment in your future. Still, an investment in higher education isn’t always easy to afford, so we’ve committed time and resources to ensure students will be considered for scholarships and financial aid opportunities.
