A bachelor’s degree in education is the minimum educational requirement for entering the teaching profession. These programs provide the first two years toward completion of the corresponding bachelor’s degree at the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services (CECH). Students must be admitted into the CECH cohort through a selective admissions process for completion of the bachelor’s degree and teacher licensure.
These one-year programs (non-degree) provide the first year of the baccalaureate program at the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services (CECH). Students completing the first year must apply to and be accepted into the program at CECH.
For students who have not selected a program, Exploratory Studies provides core classes for the first year of study before transitioning into selected program.
For graduates of Ohio Technical Center programs, this associate degree completion program translates technical program clock hours into free block technical credit toward a general associate degree.
