Thank you for participating in the 2023 UC Day of Giving, a 24-hour celebration of community and philanthropy. From Tuesday, April 18 at noon through Wednesday, April 19 at noon, the UC family will come together to support the UC causes that matter most to them.
Your support as an Ambassador is crucial to the success of UC Day of Giving. Within this toolkit are all the resources you need to rally your network in support of UC. Last year we showed the impact we can make when Bearcats come together to support our students, faculty, programs and patients. With your help, we can make this another recordbreaking year. After all, it’s a remarkable time to be a Bearcat.
Before making your gift and asking others to make theirs, it can help to think of your why. Why do you give to UC? Why do you support a specific cause? Why do you give on UC Day of Giving? Finding your why can help inspire others to find theirs.

Track Your Ambassador Activity and Compete with Other Bearcats!
If you haven’t already, sign up to be an ambassador at dayofgiving.uc.edu.
On your Ambassador Dashboard you’ll find your personal referral link to include in all of your communications. Use it! This link will track your impact and make you eligible for ambassador prizes throughout the day.
$1,500 will be donated to the UC fund of the ambassador’s choice. The ambassador will also receive a UC gift basket.
$750 will be donated to the UC fund of the ambassador’s choice. The ambassador will also receive a UC gift basket.
$500 will be donated to the UC fund of the ambassador’s choice. The ambassador will also receive a UC gift basket.

Leveraging Your Network
Ensure that every communication you have with your UC network about UC Day of Giving includes your personal referral link. In addition, there are opportunities nearly every hour to participate in Matches and Challenges to win extra prize money for your chosen cause. #BearcatsGive Challenge
We’ll randomly pick ONE winner during UC Day of Giving who uses #BearcatsGive and give $250 to the fund of their choice.
Why do you give to UC? Challenge
Post “I give to UC because ________” on Instagram Stories. The most inspirational post all day wins $500 to designate to the fund of their choice! To participate in this challenge, include #BearcatsGive in your post.
6th Anniversary Challenge
Tag 6 people who will want to make a gift in honor of our 6th UC Day of Giving! We’ll randomly pick ONE winner to receive $500 to go to the fund of their choice, plus a UC Prize Pack! To participate in this challenge, include #BearcatsGive in your post.
The ambassador with the most gifts attributed to their personal referral link in a specified time frame wins an additional $200 to go to the fund of their choice. *Ambassador must have at least five gifts tied to their personal referral link in the time frame to win. Ambassadors can win only once.
