A Mexican competition team stablished in 2012 by Mahanaim Silva with the purpose of promoting the movement of choreography in the northwest border of the country. Feeding on the cultures of California and the rest of Mexico, Beat The Beat is a diverse team that focuses on growing its members through love, discipline and hard work. Obtaining 1st places in national competitions such as Maxt Out in LA, Feel the bounce in Mexico City, Expression Dance in Chihuahua, UPA Dance in Acapulco, Front Row in Tijuana, Exhibitions in important events such as The Bridge in LA, and important tops such as HHI Mexico and others.Looking for the opportunity to show the world what our country has to offer in terms of technique and growth potential in other large scenarios.

CADC is a collegiate, competitive da team under UC Irvine. They were established in 1994 and are rooted in culture, family, and tradition. Cast Members Only is an exhibition team whose aim is to bring together dancers from the community who all share a common trait… they all perform at the happiest place on earth, The Disneyland Resort. They hope to portray the same joy and fun into the dance community that they bring to people daily around the world, as well as showcase the talent hidden behind the wigs and costumes. Comprised of about 40 members, Cast Members Only, also known as C-MO, houses many dancers of the community including cast members from Choreo Cookies, Common Ground, PAC Modern, Team Millennia, Kaba Modern, GRV, and many more… Many of them have performed/competed on the UB stage in the past and this year they are excited to join together as Cast Members and share their love for dance with a little Disney magic.

Monster Crew is a 9 year old dance team created in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico by a group of 4 young friends. We look to grow as dancers and individuals by sharing dance, art, values, fun, and friendship while keeping our distinct latin flavor.

Kaba Modern is an collegiate dance group established in 1992 by Arnel Calvario. As a proud part of the Filipino-American club Kababayan, at the University of California, Irvine, he founded the group to perform in the modern dance suite of their annual PCN (Pilipino cultural night). was born in Los Angeles and began his training at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy He went on to attend the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, where he pursued choreography. He has been mentored by William Forsythe, co-created work with Emma Portner and was commissioned to create a solo for Benja-min Millepied’s company, LA Dance Project. Aidan also co-founded the LAbased company JA Collective which earned second-place honors at the Capezio Ace Awards and is now creative directing for the band Half Alive. He plays with his experience in multiple forms and movement practices to create intricate improv patterns and choreographic sequences.

is an LA based artist, dance instructor, freestyler, choreographer, and leader, specializing in a style coined “Morphing,” established through his organizations: Metamorphs Movement as well as Cubcakes Organization, the youth crew which Markus co-directs alongside his partner Thalia Ramos. Markus has taught and performed internationally in 20+ countries and across the US and his work includes choreography performed by Kpop groups such as BTS and TXT. Even after 25+ years of multidisciplinary learning and countless hours of training in many different movement forms, Markus still continues to strive for further exploration and experimentation as he also cultivates the ever-evolving Morphing community.
