Who’s Who

BRYAN ANTINORE (Dr. Scott/Phantom) is a Junior from Ballston Spa, New York, and is thrilled to be playing Dr. Scott. Bryan is a Theater major and has a minor in Acting. This is Bryan’s fourth Theatre Program production at UAlbany, where he was recently seen in Mary Shelley Meets Frankenstein last fall, as well as FRESH ACTS and The Taming of the Shrew last spring. Bryan’s other credits include various roles in community theater, and short films he has created with friends. Bryan would like to thank the Theatre Program for the wonderful opportunity, and his family for their support.

ALEX BAR (Phantom) is a junior at UAlbany with a double major in Theatre and Philosophy. The previous productions she has worked on include Oliver! The Musical, The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong, Radium Girls, and many more. She is from the small town of Clayville, New York, and has been doing theater since middle school. She has an intense passion for acting and singing, and loves creating art in many forms and putting smiles on other people’s faces.

JAKE BELL he/him (Frank) is a senior Theatre major with a minor in Musical Theatre at UAlbany. He is so excited to be returning to performing in a musical. Some of his Theatre Program acting credits include Christopher Sly in The Taming of the Shrew, Tom Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie, and Mark Cohen in RENT, as well as Kurt Kelly in MTA’s production of Heathers. He also recently designed the set for last fall’s production of Machinal. Jake is so thankful for everyone in his life who has supported his highs and lows throughout his dreams.

ZOEY CAHILL (Phantom) is beyond excited to be a part of the Rocky Horror cast. She is a junior Theatre major at UAlbany, with a minor in Musical Theatre. This is her fourth production with the Theatre Program, where she was most recently seen as Telephone Girl in this fall’s production of Machinal. She has performed in over 50 shows in her lifetime, most notably working with Berkshire Theatre Group, Berkshire Children’s Theater, and BCC Players. She is eternally grateful to her friends and family for their constant support and love.

HAZEL CHAUDOIR (Phantom) is a junior at UAlbany majoring in Business with a minor in Theatre. She was born and raised in Wisconsin. Hazel most recently played Claire Clairemont in this fall’s Theatre Program production of Mary Shelly Meets

Frankenstein, and previously appeared in FRESH ACTS last spring. She is so proud to be a part of this powerful show in 2025 and would like to give her thanks for everyone involved with this production.

LILY CULLEN (Phantom) is a first-year student at UAlbany, looking to major in Criminal Justice. She is from Mineola, NY, where she has performed in numerous productions. She is so excited to be in her first show here, working alongside such talented and hardworking people.

CHARLES HORNSTEIN (Eddie/Phantom) is currently a UAlbany junior studying Political Science and Philosophy, with a minor in Theater. He has years of production experience including shows such as Clue, Heathers, and Beauty and the Beast, and was an ensemble member in the Theatre Program’s FRESH ACTS festival 2024. He is very excited to be bringing the rock ‘n’ roll to Rocky Horror!

STEPHEN KAPALCZYNSKI (Phantom) is a junior at UAlbany, majoring in Informatics and minoring in Psychology. In the past he performed in the Theatre Program’s production of RENT and is honored to have the opportunity to be a part of another musical here. He would like to thank his family and friends for always attending his shows, whether they are walking across the street or driving across the state.

BRUCE KONOPA (Rocky) is very enthusiastic about being a part of this production! He is a senior Communications major and Theatre minor, and previously appeared in the Theatre Program’s production of RENT. He would like to thank the creative team for putting this wonderful show together, and to thank his family and his girlfriend Izzy for their constant support.

Some favorite past roles of his include Billy Flynn in Chicago, Hanschen Rilow in Spring Awakening, and Dennis Dupree in Rock of Ages.

ALLISON KRAWCZYK (Columbia) is a junior Theater major and Musical Theater minor at UAlbany. She has worked on previous Theatre Program productions of RENT, performing named ensemble roles; last spring’s The Taming of the Shrew, playing Vincentio; and was Assistant Stage Manager on last semester’s production of Mary Shelly Meets Frankenstein. Now she is so excited to appear as Colombia in Rocky Horror, and gives a big thank you to the director, creative, and production team for bringing this show to life!

DAVANI MELENDEZ (Magenta) is a Communications major and Theatre minor from Queens, NYC. This is her fifth performance at UAlbany. Her Theatre Program credits include Bianca in The Taming of the Shrew last spring and Mimi in RENT, and she has also played Diana in A Chorus Line. She sends a big shoutout to her family and friends for always showing out for her, and to the incredible cast and crew for bringing this out-of-this-world production to life, at a time when breaking boundaries is more important than ever.

PETER MOSTERT (Brad) is a senior Music major, minoring in Theatre. Previous credits include Chuck in Footloose (NSCP), Glen in The Wedding Singer (MTA), and the Male Swing in Fun Home (SLOC), as well as the Theatre Program’s production of RENT. This spring you can catch Peter at SLOC where he will be music directing Pippin. Peter would like to thank the cast, crew, and his friends for making this amazing experience possible!

DAVID PASTUSZKA (Riff Raff) is a sophomore Linguistics student, excited to be taking on this role! You may have seen him in the 2024 Musical Theatre Association productions of The Wedding Singer and Chicago. He would like to congratulate his fellow castmates, creative team, and crew members, and give a special thanks to his family and friends for their endless support.

MIEKAYLA PIERRE (Usherette/Phantom) is a junior majoring in Finance and Marketing with a minor in Theatre. She is thrilled to be a part of her first production at UAlbany and is incredibly grateful to be part of such a warm, supportive cast. She is excited to share this iconic show with the audience and can’t wait for them to experience the magic and energy of this production!

ALEX REYNOSO (Phantom) is a Psychology major at UAlbany, with a minor in Theatre. As a first-year student, he made his debut in the Theatre Program’s production of RENT, playing the character of Angel. Alex is thrilled to be onstage again with Rocky Horror and would like to thank his close friends and family for always supporting and encouraging him to venture out of his comfort zone and try new things.

MADISON RIVERA (Janet) is a senior Theatre major and Musical Theatre minor and is beyond excited to perform her last show here with so many amazing people. Previous Theatre Program performing credits include RENT (Alexi Darling/Ensemble) and The Taming of the Shrew (Biondello). When Madison isn’t onstage, she is stage managing, with credits that include Melodies of Christmas with WRGB CBS6 Albany; Mary Shelley Meets Frankenstein with UAlbany Theatre Program last fall; and She Kills Monsters with Proctors Collaborative Theatre, Capital Repertory Theatre and The Black Theatre Troupe of Upstate NY.

She wants to thank her family for the continued support of her dreams, and give a shout out to Anne Croteau for encouraging her to do this!

XAVIER ROSARIO (Phantom) is a first-year student at UAlbany, with a major in Theatre and minor in Psychology. Some of his previous productions include Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour), The School of Rock (Dewey), Clue on Stage (Mr. Green), Freaky Friday (Adam), and The Prom (Ensemble). He is excited to be performing with the Theatre Program in his first production at UAlbany, and wants to thank his family for always supporting him.

BRIANNA START she/her (Phantom) is very excited to be a part of UAlbany’s production of Rocky Horror. She has always had a love for singing and began acting at local theatres in the third grade. Some of her favorite roles include Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Julia Guglia in The Wedding Singer, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, and Duchess Estonia in Nice Work If You Can Get It. She would like to thank her friends and family for always encouraging her to go after her dreams.

BENEDETH UDUBA (Phantom) is a sophomore at UAlbany and a double major in Theatre and Communications. Benedeth is making her Theatre Program performing debut with this production, and has previously worked on shows such as Hooded, or Being Black for Dummies by Tearrance A. Chisholm and It’s Not Me, It’s You by Don Zolidis. Originally from Yonkers, NY, she is not only a fan of the theatre, but an avid dancer who does self-choreography as well!

OTTO VAVAL (Phantom) is very excited to be a part of this cast! Otto is a sophomore Theatre major at UAlbany. Although Otto

has worked as a crew member on such Theatre Program productions as Clyde’s, The Taming of the Shrew, and Mary Shelley Meets Frankenstein, this is their first show as a cast member and dance captain! Otto has been making theatre for nine years, starting back home in Hillburn, NY; and is excited to continue their theatrical journey.

JEWEL WINANT (Narrator) is a senior majoring in Theatre and double minoring in Acting and Psychology. She is thrilled to be performing the role of the Narrator in this production. Jewel has performed in nearly 40 shows, some of which include her other Theatre Program performances: Amanda in The Glass Menagerie, Kate in The Taming of the Shrew, and Prosecution Lawyer/Others in Machinal. She would like to thank the amazing professors and directors she has gotten the pleasure of working with and being taught by during her time at UAlbany and is excited for whatever comes next after graduation.

MICHAELA ADAM (Stage Manager) is a senior English and Human Development major with a minor in Theatre. She has previously been seen both on- and off-stage, including high school productions of She Kills Monsters and Les Miserables; doing technical work on UAlbany Theatre Program productions, including stage management of this fall’s Machinal; and as the playwright of Viva Voce in the FRESH ACTS festival 2024. She is so excited to see this production come together and wishes the cast and crew luck!

HEAVENLEE GONZALEZ (Assistant Stage Manager) is a thirdyear student at UAlbany, excited to be working on her third UAlbany Theatre Program production. Heavenlee previously worked on The Taming of the Shrew, as Props Assistant and Sound Board Operator; and on Machinal as Assistant Stage

Manager. She is very excited to be bringing this production to life and to have the opportunity to work with an amazing group or actors and crew!

JOHANNA LEVITT-DINDAS (Assistant Stage Manager) is a sophomore at UAlbany, thrilled to be a part of her second UAlbany Theatre Program, after working this fall as Assistant Stage Manager on Mary Shelley Meets Frankenstein. Johanna has also previously worked on productions such as The Crucible (Stage Manager and Assistant Director) and Chicago (Prop Master and Stage Crew). She is so thankful for the opportunity to work on this show and is very happy to be a part of this amazing production.

LAUREL IZZO (Associate Costume Designer) is a junior at UAlbany, where she is a Theatre and Anthropology doublemajor, with a minor in Theatrical Design and Technology. She has been working in the costume shop since her freshman year. This fall she had the honor of being Costume Designer for Machinal. As an Associate Designer on Rocky Horror Show, all costumes worn by Riff Raff were specially curated, designed, and/or constructed by Laurel. She would like to thank her friends, family, and teachers for supporting her as she finds her artistic self.

SAMANTHA LANDY (Associate Costume Designer) is currently a junior Theater major and Theatrical Design and Technology minor, with a special interest in costume construction. Previous Theatre Program credits include wardrobe supervisor for The Glass Menagerie and The Taming of the Shrew, as well as working as a stitcher in the costume shop. Sam has worked as a costume designer at The Ghent Playhouse in Ghent, NY, for Lend Me a Tenor. At the Mac-Hayden Theater in Chatham,

NY, she has worked as a stitcher on West Side Story, Sister Act, RENT, All Shook Up, and Something Rotten; and as assistant costume designer for The Fantasticks. Sam looks forward to continuing her costuming journey and wants to thank her family for supporting her in all her work.

SHAUN PATRICK TUBBS (Director) is a New York-based director, actor, and Visiting Assistant Professor of Direction at UAlbany. Selected directing credits include the world première of American Apollo (Des Moines Metro Opera), The Glass Menagerie (UAlbany), Ragtime (Union Avenue Opera), Defacing Michael Jackson (Miami New Drama), The Tempest (Powerhouse Theatre), Troilus and Cressida (Juilliard), Sweat (Wright State), Life Is a Dream (Juilliard), In the Blood (Juilliard), Black Dick (NYTW), Lost in the Stars (Union Avenue Opera), Independence Eve (Signature Theatre DC), Well-Intentioned White People (Orlando Shakespeare), hop tha A (Ars Nova), Artney Jackson (The Lark/New Black Festival), and Disgraced (Asolo Repertory Theatre). Selected acting credits include Stained (New Ohio Theater), Terminus (NYTW), The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged (Human Race Theatre), My Mañana Comes (MTC), and The Book of Grace (Zach Scott Theatre). He is a recipient of numerous awards and fellowships. Holds an MFA from UT Austin and a BFA from Wright State University. Member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers (SDC), Actors Equity Association (AEA), and SAG-AFTRA.

MICHAEL LISTER (Music Director) holds a Doctor of Arts degree in Choral Conducting from Ball State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, and a Master of Music in Music Theory from Indiana University. He has served on the faculty of Otterbein College, Butler University, and has served as a music director at Ball State

University and with Akron Light Opera. He was a staff accompanist at The University of Miami, where he served as a collaborative pianist for the Musical Theater and Opera programs. For 12 years at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, Michael conducted several vocal ensembles and taught courses in conducting, music education, and music theater. He is currently the director of choral ensembles at UAlbany and teaches courses in conducting and other music topics. Additionally, he serves as the Director of the Empire State Youth Orchestra Melodies of Christmas Chorale, which performs annually in the Capital Region. He previously collaborated with the Theatre Program as Music Director on RENT.

LEAH TUBBS (Choreographer) was reared by Craig & Harriette Smiley in Birmingham, AL, the birthplace of the Civil Rights Movement. Her technical and artistic foundation was honed as a Dance major at Alabama School of Fine Arts (ASFA) and the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa. She transitioned from a student into a professional artist working with various professional modern and contemporary dance companies in Alabama, Ohio, California, Texas, and New York. Leah established MODArts Dance Collective (MADC) with husband, Shaun, on July 23, 2011, to hold space for BIPOC artists, choreographers, cinematographers, and communities through its choreographic work, two festivals, solo concert, free residency, and workshop. Her choreographic experience outside of the dance studio includes Union Avenue Opera’s Ragtime and Des Moines Metro Opera’s American Apollo. She is thrilled to be a part of this production team for her debut UAlbany Theatre Program production. www.modartsdance.com

EVAN ANDERSON (Lighting Designer) is a lighting designer and composer for theatre, dance, and film. His lighting work has been seen across the United States and internationally in Europe and Asia. Frequent collaborators include The Wooster Group, zoe | juniper, and Paul Budraitis. Recent work: The Winter’s Tale and It’s a Wonderful Life (Hartford Stage); The Plot (Yale Repertory Theatre); Pipe Dream (Berkshire Theatre Group); Symphony of Rats (The Wooster Group); I Love That For You (Acker Statd Palast); Constellations (Ancram Opera House); Scenes with Girls (Theater Lab); Happy Life (The Hearth). He is a company member of CabinFever, a Burry Fredrik Design Fellow, and has an MFA in Lighting Design from the Yale School of Drama. This fall’s production of Mary Shelley Meets Frankenstein was his first collaboration at UAlbany.

ANNE CROTEAU (Costume Designer and Costume Shop Manager) is the Theatre Program’s Costumer, designing costumes and supervising student designers for the production season. She teaches courses in theatrical design and costume construction, runs the costume shop, and coordinates production practicum. Previous costume design credits at UAlbany include the first production of Mary Shelley Meets Frankenstein, The Taming of the Shrew, Rent, The Piano Lesson, Eurydice, and others. This winter she designed costumes for Once on This Island, the Black Theatre Troupe of Upstate New York’s first musical ever produced. Professional theatre credits include the American Repertory Theatre, Huntington Theatre Company, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Costume Works Inc., Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, Saratoga Children’s Theatre and many others. Anne is the owner of Dress You Up, a custom bridal and formal gown design studio in Ballston Lake, NY and a member of the Board of Directors for Not So Common Players of Clifton Park, NY. She holds an MFA in Costume

Construction and Design from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana; and a BA in Theatre from UAlbany.

NORA MARLOW SMITH (Scenic Designer) is a New York-based scenic designer and Visiting Assistant Professor of Scenic Design at UAlbany. Previous credits include The Mountaintop with Black Theatre Troupe of Upstate NY, She Kills Monsters at Capital Repertory Theatre, Fiddler on the Roof at Proctors, Fort Huachuca and Bloodshot with SHE NYC, Come Here to Me at the Tank, Carmen in the 1920's and The Little Prince with Ballet Co. Laboratory, The Life and Deaths of Alan Turing with Chicago Opera Theater, RENT and Pipeline at OCP, Being Chaka with Téa Artistry at the New Ohio Theater, and many more. Most recently she was scenic designer on Capital Repertory Theatre’s production of A Sherlock Carol, and UAlbany Theatre Program’s production of Mary Shelley Meets Frankenstein. Nora holds a BA in English from Mount Holyoke College, and an MFA in Stage and Costume Design from Northwestern University.

JOHN KNAPP (Technical Director and Scene Shop Supervisor) holds a BA in Theatre from UAlbany. He has been part of the team of students and artistic colleagues for approximately thirty years, helping to build roughly 100 productions at UAlbany. John’s designs include The School for Scandal, Cloud 9, My Children! My Africa!, Miss Reardon Drinks a Little, The Importance of Being Earnest, and In the Next Room. John doubles as the Theatre Program’s Archivist. In 2006 John started collecting documents (photos, programs, posters, etc.) to create a digital archive of Theatre at the University.
