TOWN HALL Voice Over IP (VoIP) Project
PROJECT INTRODUCTION UAB is replacing the current digital phone system on campus with a voice over internet protocol solution (VoIP). Voice over Internet Protocol is a technology that allows you to make voice calls using a broadband Internet connection instead of a regular phone line. The new system will provide users and UAB with:
