A Message from the Director Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It does not seem that long ago, but 7 months have passed since my family and I arrived in Tucson and now this issue marks the end of the academic year. For many of our students, the summer will be filled with jobs and internships, affording them a chance to apply some of the knowledge they acquired to real world situations. For our recent graduates, I hope you have wonderful and everlasting memories of your time at the UA. We enjoyed having you in our classes and getting to know you during your time here. You will continue to leave an enduring legacy of excellence and achievement for generations to come. On behalf of our faculty, staff and graduate students, we wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

I would also like to acknowledge and thank our wonderful faculty, staff, and graduate students for their continued hard work and dedication to our undergraduates, as well as their significant contributions to our school, CALS, the UA, and to our local and global communities. Moreover, congratulations to those who have been promoted and/or reappointed. To my ACBS team, have a great summer, stay safe. I look forward to August when we will welcome a new group of students into ACBS, as well as welcoming our returning students. To all of our readers, thank you for your support and I wish you and your families all the best for a happy and fun-filled summer. Bear Down. Kindest regards, AndrĂŠ Wright, PhD
