Salt Lake City, UT - Fall 2023 - Academic - Group - Coordinator
In the fall Urban Design Studio the class was tasked with identifying catalytic areas along and in proximity to the State Street Corridor.
Outcomes
• Built understandings of urban systems, analysis communication, and neighborhood stabilization strategies
• Practiced project management through delegation of tasks, discussion leading, and conglomeration of data and deliverables

To provide for enhanced educational experiences, this outdoor space plays on local geography to tell a story of what it means to be a Mountaineer, the school’s mascot.
Outcomes
• Advanced the ideation of space to secure educational grants
• Transformed functional ideas into dynamic spaces that will make long term impacts on students
Evolving Form
I took a simple rectilinear concept and adapted the expression of form elements to enhance the story and quality of the space.

As part of a larger sustainable design, this outdoor learning space provides an indoor-outdoor connection for innovative uses.
Outcomes
• Developed strategies for creating multi-dimensional spaces that intertwine a variety of modes of circulation and use
• Tackled complex grading problems that lent themselves to higher quality environmental design
Tremonton, UT - Fall 2023 - Academic - Partnership
A residential neighborhood proposal for a rural community looking to transform the way it deals with housing affordability
Outcomes
• Studied standard practices of platting, zoning, housing typologies, and residential design standards..
• Explored a more varied neighborhood layout that combined both energy and efficiency
• Enhanced GIS skills in analysis and presentation
Data Driven
GIS data and suitability analysis provided us with the information to understand context and site suitability for suggested development.
I implemented strategies in this layout to accommodate efficiency, a diverse housing menu, and energetic form to blend new styles of living within the existing context.
Marion, UT - Spring 2024 - Academic - Individual
In the heart of scenic Heber Valley, South Summit Park is a 9-acre site consisting of gentle slopes and the remains of a gravel pit, lending itself to creative explorations of recreational use.
Outcomes
• Challenged self to combine traditional park design with modern recreation needs
• Used small scale design decisions to drive larger divisions of space
• Communicated with quick and loose hand graphics
